How to Wake Up Early in The Morning

Ask yourself why? Why do you want to wake up early in the morning?  You know why I’ll tell you because, if you know how to wake up early in the morning between 4 to 5 am you have 3-4 hours more from regular days where you wake up 7 or 8 am daily.

You can utilize those hours to do something productive, something useful which is up skills yourself or you can work on your physical and mental health. There are many advantages which are why you need to wake up early in the morning but, how?

When you wake up early in the morning you can work on yourself like, you work on improving communication skills or you can improve your english communication skills so you get better job options. When you work on your communication you also overcome your fear of public speaking because in communication you have to practice speaking more and that thing improves your public speaking. 

Read the paragraph below to know how you can wake up early in the morning and get all the advantages of waking up early in the morning. Apply them in your life as much as you can and after a few weeks you see change in your life and your career. After a month you know exactly how you can wake up early in the morning and take all the benefits of it.

1. Early to Bed is First Step

To wake up early in the morning you have to start his preparation one day before night. If you sleep early at night, then there’s a higher chance that you could wake up early in the morning because you complete your sleep hours. You can start reading books to get a better sleep.

Biggest problem is that we do not wake up early in the morning, we do not sleep on time. In today’s generation it’s tough to sleep on time because most people come late from the office or many people develop a habit of sleeping very late at night. Sleeping late at night has a negative impact on your memory power

Many people study and do important work late at night. But, you have to manage your time and sleep between 9 to 11 PM which is the best time to sleep. If you want to wake up early in the morning. Sleep as soon as possible. 

2. Find a Purpose to Wake up Early 

Do you remember the last time you woke up early in the morning before 4 or 5 am? Maybe that day  you have to take a flight or you are going somewhere with family or friends. You understand what I’m trying to say to you. You have to find a motivation in yourself to wake up early in the morning.

If you have something which you love to do like early morning Cricket, football, badminton or anything, you can also play this type of sport with your friends to overcome your procrastination and wake up early in the morning. . 

These motivations change your body language from negative to positive, after that you will wake up early in the morning. Choose according to you, what you love to do, which is useful and which motivates you to wake up early in the morning. Waking up early in the morning also improves your concentration power

3. Gradually Decrease Your Time

If you wake up in the morning at 8 or 9 am. then you can not wake up suddenly early in the morning at 4 or 5 am. You have to gradually decrease your time by half hour or 15 minutes for a week so your body adapts that time to wake up.

You have to gradually decrease your waking up time otherwise your mind will refuse to do it. Start 15 minutes before and do this for a week. After a month you are able to wake up 1 hour early. Like this you can reach your ideal time to wake up in the morning.  When you do this gradually this task is so simple for you and this increases your confidence that you will easily wake up early in the morning. 

4. Use Different Alarms 

Many times you use alarms to wake up, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. You have to use alarms smartly. If you sleep with your mobile only one hand away so when it rings you will snooze it or you stop the alarm.

You have to try different things to wake up early in the morning. You can put your alarm enough away from you so when it rings in the morning you have to stand up to stop your alarm. These things will wake you up properly.

You can also use mobile app applications like until you solve a mathematical equation your alarm will ring. You can try these types of different mobile applications to wake up early in the morning.

5. Decrease Your Screen Time

Try to minimize your screen time if you want to wake up early in the morning because, when you watch too much screen this thing stops the melatonin  hormone which is responsible for giving you a better sleep. Too much screen time impacts your emotions and you can’t control your anger without any big reason.

I know it’s tough for you because most of the work in today’s time is on a screen in the office or anywhere we are surrounded by a screen and when you want to entertain yourself you watch mobile or TV for that but, you have to make a strong decision if you want to wake up early in the morning. 

Try as much as you can at least off your mobile screen one hour before sleep and do not watch your mobile phone first thing in the morning. You can read a book before sleep at night or you can spend your time with your family. 

In the morning you can read newspapers or do exercise or yoga to maintain your physical and mental health. Just keep your eyes away from the screen as much as possible if you really want to wake up early in the morning. 

6. Do Exercise in Evening 

Do you remember when we feel exhausted we sleep instantly. You can use this thing for better sleep. You don’t need to work hard or go to a gym to feel exhausted.

Just a light workout in the evening. Do yoga or go for a walk after your meal. That’s enough for you. When we do something which makes us physically exhausted. That’s good for a quality sleep. Waking up early in the morning and doing exercise makes us productive.  

7. Avoid Tea, Coffee after Lunch 

When you take a cup of tea, coffee after lunch or in the evening , it disturbs your sleep cycle because they have high caffeine, which makes our mind wake up for a long time.

You can take tea or coffee in the evening or last before 2 or 3 pm. Because, tea and coffee show their effect for 10 to 11 hours after taking it. So if you want to wake up early in the morning you have to try all these things or as many things as possible. 


What You Learnt From It

(i) Wake up early in the morning is the best gift you can give to yourself. Start with knowing your “why” for waking up early in the morning.

(ii) You have to gradually decrease your time of waking up in the morning and use different types of alarms to wake yourself up in the initial stage. 

(iii) Avoid tea, coffee after lunch and do exercise to maintain your physical and mental health. Number 2 is my favorite way to wake up early in the morning.
